Litigation concerning cryopreserved embryos or frozen gametes can take many forms.  Disputes between ex-partners for dispositional control of jointly created embryos are becoming increasingly common.  News reports of embryos transferred to the wrong patient or accidentally discarded embryos are growing in number.
